To our simulator the real cabine of Bombadier NGT6 tram was created, in 1:1 scale.
The cabine was created by Maciej Gorowski from Krakow Academy of Art (Industrial Forms division), with help of Tomasz Ozon.
The works began in April 2006, and have lasted for over a year.
There was made a special USB steering module for ATS - the whole service combined with cabine's pulpit is realized through it.
20th of July 2007 first stage of production was ended - the construction of cabine, with first version of software run on it.
24th of July ATS cabine was transported to exhibition hall of the Museum of City Engineery in Krakow, where can be seen in normal opening hours.
1st & 2nd of August 2007 the first official drives on simulator have begun, where the software has been fully tested, and the tram route schedule was finally set - now visitors can drive this virtual tram route.
At present the simulator is in Railway Institute of Technical University of Kraków city.
